Red Zone Warning Forklift Lights and Their Usage

When forklifts operate at a workplace, there are other people also who work in close vicinity of the forklift; and a majority of the forklift accidents involve a pedestrian. It may even lead collisions, or foot injuries or even loss of human life when one comes in close contact with the machine. Here is when red zone forklift lights come into the picture. The red zone warning forklift lights can be installed on both sides of the forklift, marking an area beyond which no one is allowed to enter. The zone created through these red zone forklift lights is called the halo zone, or the no go zone. Usually, the halo zone or the no go zone is adjusted between two to five feet of distance from the forklift, but this can be customized. Obviously, the no go zone being wider for large forklift machines as compared to the small and regular forklifts.

Not only sides, but the red zone forklift lights can be also mounted at the front, and rear end of the machine to mark the safety zone. If forklift machines deal with very heavy material, the red zone forklift light can even be mounted on all four sides. The red zone forklift lights are best used for indoor operations, although these are waterproof and apt for outdoor usage; these are not quite visible in bright sunlight. But, these provide excellent coverage during the night, and in dark places.

These are easy to mount and are attached to heavy duty wires, thus are durable, and strong. And even can be switched as per the requirement either on both sides, or front, and back end quickly. Ensure safety at workplace, and avoid major accidents with red zone forklift lights
